Dear Editor:

Mayor Netts, City Manager Jim Landon, and members of the City Council, do everything they can to steer the elections in Palm Coast. The city held a referendum vote on a Primary Ballot, trying to minimize voting, since Primary Elections are the lowest turnout.

So, just how transparent is the Saint Johns County website? While the website may provide a wealth of information, one has to dig a little further into the details in order to make sense of various programs the County Commissioners tout as contributing to our collective “quality of life.”

I recently wrote to all members of the Florida Public Service Commission to complain about a penalty I now face unless I agree to change to a so called “Smart Meter” from Florida Power and Light Company.
