The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that they will officially open the Jubilee Year for Priests on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and the celebration of Vespers.

Alabama man arrested at Guana parking lot

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that a 40-year old Alabama man was arrested on a host of charges following an incident in the 1600 block of South Ponte Vedra Blvd. at the North Guana parking lot late Thursday morning.

Library wins award for best website in Florida

Library Director Debra Rhodes Gibson reported to Historic City News that the St. Johns County Public Library System was recognized this month by the Florida Library Association for having the best public library website in the state of Florida.
