Park resumes schedule after $70K+ improvement

Effective today, Friday, February 19th, the local St. Augustine news desk has received word from Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont that the Hamilton Upchurch Neighborhood Park will reopen for regular hours.

Clerk arrested for twice selling alcohol to minors

St. Augustine local news reporters learned that Mariam Choutri, 56, who resides on Ponce Harbor Drive in St. Augustine, was arrested February 15th on her job at King Food Mart on West King Street, during an alcohol compliance check of the “Party’s Over” campaign.

Two arrested for exploiting the elderly

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to the local St. Johns County news desk that two Putnam County residents were arrested early Thursday morning in Palatka on outstanding warrants for allegedly exploiting the elderly.

Guest may have stolen over $2,000 from home

The local St. Augustine news desk has learned that at about 3:15 Sunday morning, Police Officer Chris Miller responded to the 30th block of Hope Street to investigate the theft of over $2000 in personal property.
