Removal of Moorings from City Waterways

Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 2009-38, the City of St. Augustine gives notice that the process of removing all unattended, unpermitted private moorings from all area waterways within the City limits will begin on February 25, 2010.

Community Affairs Officer Barbara Clifford of the St. Augustine Police Department reports to the local news desk that while patrolling the area of South Dixie and Marion, Corporal Tim Bryan observed an older model Chevy with an expired tag; traveling northbound.

Grand Theft charges filed in theft from vehicle

St. Augustine City Police have filed charges with the State Attorney’s Office against 61 year-old Tommy Griffin in connection with the theft of over $2,000 in property from a home on January 29th.
