Public Affairs Director Klare Ly reported to Historic City News from the office of State Attorney RJ Larizza, that a pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for the driver of a fuel tanker that exploded on SR-16 at 5th-Wheel BP.
The Draft General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for Fort Matanzas National Monument will be reviewed before the St Johns County Commission on Tuesday morning for a review according to the agenda received by Historic City News last week.

After several years of vacancy, Historic City News was happy to report the Grand Opening of Firestone Complete Auto Care in the former Helmly Firestone independent dealership building located on San Marco Avenue.
St Johns County Clerk of Court Cheryl Strickland received good news yesterday after a legislative panel approved an additional $29.5 million in funding for Florida’s Clerks of Court, undoing a budget cut that had already caused layoffs and delays at offices across the state.
