Diane Vespucci reported to Historic City News that, from now through April 1st, the Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine, Inc., will be accepting scholarship applications from women interested in attending St. Johns River State College and First Coast Technical College.
Historic City News was informed that the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department will host free Easter Egg Hunts at multiple park locations at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24th.
You may have noticed that Historic City News has a new masthead that includes a beautiful new 450th Commemorative logo. The design came to us courtesy of the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. This logo was developed in 2015 by, Kit Keating and John W. Fraser, Managing Director of the Park.


Now that some of the dust has settled on Monday afternoon’s arrest of Jacob Kline, the 19-year-old son of St Augustine city commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline and her husband Roger, details are starting to be uncovered about the events leading to the home invasion robbery that occurred January 25th.
