Castillo hosts Sisters and Survivors event for Women’s History Month
In honor of Women’s History Month, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument has announced to Historic City News that they will host a special “Sisters and Survivors” event on the evening of Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Faisal Abdu’Allah, a visiting artist and barber by trade, will be performing his “Live Salon” artist talk on Thursday, March 10 at Flagler College, where he sets up his barber chair and tools and cuts the hair of a willing participant. The event, organized by the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, draws on the singular community of the barbershop, where familiar conversation about politics, social issues, art, etc. is vital to the life of a neighborhood.
Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Flagler College will be unveiling its first-ever graduate degree program this fall in deaf education, ushering in a new chapter in the growth of the comprehensive liberal arts school.
