Town Hall meeting a hit for DeSantis
Historic City News readers in Congressional District 6 showed up in number last night as our new Republican House Representative Ron DeSantis held his second Town Hall meeting at Flagler Palm Coast High School in Palm Coast.



Last weekend was the 37th Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Olustee; today, February 20, Historic City News readers remember the date in 1864 of the largest Civil War battle to take place in the State of Florida — and the soldiers who fought in it.
In a segment that lasted almost 45 minutes, Historic City News watched as St Johns County Commissioners voted 4-1 to reject the five-year contract proposed last week by County Attorney Patrick McCormack.

About an hour ago, Miami based Burger King Worldwide Inc., was the victim of a malicious cyber-attack when the company’s logo was replaced by hackers who tweeted that the business had been taken over by rival fast food juggernaut McDonald’s Corporation.
