Clerk of Court remembers murdered supervisor
Stephanie Theresa Singleton-Gilliam, the 44 year-old victim of a stabbing attack inside her home at 241 Duval Street in St Augustine, was a supervisor in the family law division of the St Johns County Clerk of Court.



Just after 10:30 p.m. last night, local Historic City News reporters were informed that the husband of 44 year-old Stephanie Theresa Singleton-Gilliam was arrested in St Augustine and booked in the St Johns County Detention Facility, charged with her murder.
Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind announced to Historic City News local reporters that the school’s 16th president, L. Daniel Hutto, would officially retire this week — his board meeting April 27 will be his last official event.
Historic City News has learned that family members of the victim in this morning’s stabbing inside a residence on Duval Street in St Augustine, have been contacted about the death of a supervisory employee of the St Johns County Clerk of Court.
Soon after 9:00 a.m. this morning, Historic City News received an upsetting e-mail, ostensibly from St Augustine Commissioner Bill Leary, with news that he and his family had been mugged at their hotel and left stranded with a $2850 hotel bill that they had no way to pay.
Spain’s Consul in Miami, Cristina Barrios, confirmed for Historic City News reader Raphael Cosme that 74 year-old King Juan Carlos I of Spain and Her Majesty Queen Sophia would visit St Augustine by the first week of May, 2013.
Historic City News has learned that just after 2:00 a.m. this morning, deputies with the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1100 Block of Linwood Loop in St Augustine to serve a warrant on 38 year-old Brandon Darrel Ervie.
Nothing short of fireworks during the first two-hour segment of the St Augustine City Commission during their regular meeting tonight when a local pastor took the podium — not to recite a benediction, but rather to condemn the members of the commission and city staff for defamation of his Lincolnville church.
