Pet center closes for maintenance and training
Animal Control Division Chief Paul Studivant announced to local Historic City News reporters that the St. Johns County Animal Control Pet Center will be closed on Friday, August 26th for routine maintenance and in-service staff training.



Coalition Coordinator Heidi Matheny announced to local Historic City News reporters that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office received an honorable mention, runner up award for the law enforcement agency of the year, at the 13th National Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Leadership Conference in Orlando.
St. Johns River State College reported to Historic City News that twenty-one students have been recognized for completing the teacher certification program offered through the college’s Educator Preparation Institute.
