Updating a Historic City News story from last night, more details in the arrest of a 20 year-old Daytona Beach man on charges of making a destructive device after deputies say he detonated a bomb in a rural area of Palm Coast.
County Administrator Michael Wanchick told Historic City News that at the next County Commission meeting, on November 16th, newly elected commissioners Jay Morris and re-elected Commissioner Ron Sanchez will take their oath of office; solemnizing the commencement of their four terms.
St. Johns County Communication Manager, Karen Pan, told local Historic City News reporters that all St. Johns County offices and St. Johns County Public Libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2010, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
St. Augustine Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont informed local Historic City News reporters today that two ordinances will come on for a first reading and two will come on for public hearing at tonight’s regular meeting of the City Commission.
Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local reporters with Historic City News that, at about 7:00 p.m. last night, Flagler County deputies were on the scene and the St. Johns County bomb squad was enroute to the Dry Lake area of Seminole Woods — following reports of an explosion.
