Police arrest man on drug related charges
Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that Monday morning, Police Officer Amy Troscher and Officer Jeff Truncellito have arrested a man who is no stranger to the St. Johns County Detention Facility — this time on drug related charges.

Fishing equipment stolen from docked boat
Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that Monday afternoon, Police Officer Jon Niederriter responded to 915 South Ponce de Leon Boulevard to investigate the theft of fishing equipment from a boat in a local marina.

City offices closed for Labor Day
St. Augustine Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont informed local Historic City News reporters today that all offices of the City of St. Augustine will be closed Monday, September 6th, in observance of Labor Day.

Threat at High School determined false alarm
Collins Avenue, Del Monte Drive and Varella Avenue were closed today as Sheriff’s deputies investigated a false alarm that endangered occupants of St. Augustine High School only one week into the new school year.

Police continue search for unknown gunman
