Pirate and Treasure Museum soon to open
As construction continues at 12 Castillo Drive, directly across from the Castillo de San Marcos, Historic City News has been updated on the status of St. Augustine’s newest attraction set to launch in early November.

St. Johns River Community College informed Historic City News that they recently held a pinning ceremony to recognize recipients of the Associate in Science in Nursing degree.
Historic City News learned that about 80 percent of the mixed-use residential and commercial units at Village Square in Palencia have sold to a private investment group for $2.7 million, or $53.90 per square foot and $74,639 per unit.
Historic City News local reporters will be on hand for the St. Augustine City Commission’s budget workshop that is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 24th at 9:00 a.m.
Florida Highway Patrol Lieutenant Bill Leeper told Historic City News local reporters that his agency will participate in the national “Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest.” campaign beginning tomorrow through Labor Day.

This morning, St. Augustine City Manager John Regan announced to Historic City News that a delegation’s visit to Spain has been significantly trimmed in size and schedule.
