Local St. Johns County reporters for Historic City News have learned that a 47 year-old man has been arrested this morning on a charge of sexual battery stemming from an incident that reportedly occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Polk Correctional Facility in Seminole County, Historic City News reporters have learned that former Florida Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer has been released from custody after posting a $105,000 appearance bond; underwritten by a local surety company.
