Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire in the 800 block of North Main Street in Hastings at approximately 4:10am this morning.

A special one-day tour of many of the sites related to St. Augustine’s rich literary history will be conducted Saturday, April 4, as a fund raiser for the Friends of the Libraries of St. Johns County and the St. Augustine Record’s Newspaper in Education program.

Historic City News was informed that Flagler College history professors Wayne Riggs and Michael Butler will present a free lecture, “Irish Identity: From the Potato Famine to U2,” at 6:30 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th.

The Flagler County Tourist Development Council has informed Historic City News that the Florida Agricultural Museum will hold a special “WALK BACK IN TIME” event this month.
FPL has reported to Historic City News that local residents can lower their electric bill by enrolling in FPL’s On Call program.
Historic City News has learned that there will be a Spring Break Benefit for St. Augustine Youth Services hosted by Ejo Fox and Guy Hillyer on Sunday, March 22nd from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. to be held at 67 Valencia Street.
