Historic City News spoke with Sheriff David Shoar today after the sentencing hearing of 30 year old Benjamin Colenn Lightsey for the murder of his wife last November.

Media Specialist Liz Daube has reported to Historic City News that motivational speaker Chuck Tompkins will present “Whale Done!: The Power of Positive Relationships” on Feb. 19th at 6 p.m. in the Flagler College Auditorium located at 14 Granada St.
Beginning Wednesday, February 11, construction crews will be driving piles into the ground for the new boardwalk at the Bird Island Park construction site, located just behind the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
All offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners and county libraries will be closed on Monday, February 16, in observance of President’s Day.
