Juvenile molestation allegations lead to arrest

A 38-year old St. Johns County man was arrested on two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition at his home on Avenue D Thursday evening. Arrest linked to eighteen car burglaries

An 18-year old Duval County man was arrested on one count each of burglary to a vehicle and grand theft this morning and is allegedly involved in at least 17 additional car burglaries that occurred earlier this week in the northwest part of the county.

Cornell Road closure

According to a news release from the St. Johns County Office of Public Affairs, effective Wednesday, May 14, Cornell Road will be closed between Shore Drive and Dartmouth Road to allow the St. Johns County Road and Bridge Department to replace a cross culvert on Cornell Road.
