Landing re-enactment: celebration of mass

The office of Paul Williamson in the Department of Public Affairs for the City of St. Augustine has reported to Historic City News that on Saturday, August 30th at 9:30 a.m. there will be a re-enactment of the landing by the city’s founder at the Mission of Nombre de Dios.

City project earns Alexander Eagle Scout rank

Lance Alexander Receives Eagle Scout Designation by Community Service Project at Francis Field As a 15 year old, attempting to attain the rank of Eagle Scout is, in itself, quite a feat. However, Lance Alexander is officially an Eagle Scout due to his organizational skills and just plain hard work.

In a video endorsement received by Historic City News this morning, Sheriff David Shoar and former Sheriff Neil Perry made public endorsements of county commissioner candidate Mark Miner who is running for election against current commissioner Ben Rich for the District 3 seat.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, northeast Florida’s newest outdoor concert venue, celebrates its one year anniversary according to an announcement received by Historic City News from Karen Pan in the Office of Public Affairs of the Board of County Commissioners.
