Teen accused of lewd acts on children

According to arrest reports published by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, an 18-year-old man accused of committing sex acts with two girls under the age of 5 has been taken into custody.

The first step in developing the Destination Management Plan for St. Johns County will be taken on Tuesday, September 23rd at the Convention Center located at World Golf Village.

St Johns County schools need supplies

Kris Phillips, Station Manager of local radio stations Newstalk 1240 WFOY and ESPN Radio 1420 WAOC reported to Historic City News that in conjunction with Ripley’s Entertainment, they are collecting much-needed school supplies for the cash-strapped St. Johns County School District.

Stab victim’s injuries not life threatening

At about 10:30 last night, the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Winn-Dixie parking lot at Solano Road and AIA North in Ponte Vedra Beach according to a media alert received by Historic City News from SGT C. E. Mulligan.

Missing jet skier feared lost is located

At approximately 11:30 last night, Historic City News was updated that a missing jet skier came ashore near the St. Augustine Beach Resort in St. Augustine Beach. “He is well and being reunited with his family” according to SJSO SGT Chuck Mulligan.

Grenade found at Pedro Menendez High

SGT Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputies have cleared the scene of a bomb scare at a local high school without injury.

Vision plan for Historic District drafted

Linda B. Dixon, AICP, Assistant Director of Facilities Planning and Construction Division, University of Florida, updated Historic City News this morning concerning the Historic District Strategic Plan and provided a draft Vision Plan for the project.
