Historic City News received an announcement from Jo McIntire informing us that People for Peace and Justice (PPJ), Veterans for Peace (VfP) and Grandparents For Peace (GfP) are once again co-sponsoring the annual Peace Scholarship; which has been renamed the Peg McIntire Peace Scholarship.

Kevin Kelshaw, SJSO Media Relations Officer, reported to Historic City News that the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at an Elkton business are being investigated this afternoon.

Brunson cleared of all charges

Historic City News has received confirmation that local businessman Randy Brunson has been cleared of all charges by action of the Florida Election Commission in an administrative hearing in Tallahassee today.

Light-up Night set for November 22

Mayor Boles will be joined by past mayors to “flip the switch” at start of 15th annual Nights of Lights, Saturday, November 22nd at 6:30 p.m. according to an announcement to Historic City News from Paul Williamson in the Department of Public Affairs for the City of St. Augustine.
