Veterans Day Closings reported

Karen Pan, Office of Public Affairs for St. Johns County, reported to Historic City News that all offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners and all St. Johns County Public Libraries will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in observance of Veterans Day.

Collings Foundation – Wings of Freedom Tour

The St. Augustine Airport will be the site for The Wings of Freedom Tour of the WWII Vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator and North American P-51 Mustang from November 7th through November 9th according to an announcement received by Historic City News on yesterday.

Arrest made in 18 year old murder case

Historic City News has learned that Sheriff’s detectives and U.S. Marshals are seeking a 46-year old St. Johns County man in connection with a homicide that occurred nearly 18 years ago.
