It is a pleasure to see free parking provided by the city of St. Augustine for motorcycles during bike week. Even on weekdays I observed the positive impact on downtown businesses.
Public Relations Director Meghann Gibbons announced to Historic City News that Georgia Aquarium, which purchased the historic Marineland attraction on January 3, 2011 for a reported $9.1 million, has launched a new name and new logo.

I am 21 years old, and have been riding in parades in St. Augustine since I was born.
With the return of the two marble lion statues from which the city’s 84 year-old Bridge of Lions derives its name, Historic City News readers welcomed home two of its most famous icons in the predawn hours this morning.
The message heard by Historic City News reporters and scores of people driving by and walking in the Plaza yesterday was that good schools matter to everyone.
