Teenage boy attacked in parking garage
St Augustine police were called to a business on St George Street last night at about 6:30 p.m. after a 25 year-old deaf man reported that he had been sexually battered at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility.
Perry: Sheriff, soldier, civic leader and family man
The men and women of The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News today that they are saddened by the passing of former Sheriff Neil J. Perry.

Making video of St Augustine stories
Jennifer L Zuberer, Communications and Resource Manager for the city’s 450th Commemoration, announced to local Historic City News reporters that two Flagler College students are creating a compilation video of St Augustine stories to share with the community.

Commissioner Tom Rivers addressed the board. He’s been advised by the Supervisor of Elections that running for St Johns School Board requires his immediate resignation from the Port board, which he’s done.
Man on moped collides with pickup truck
At 10:08 p.m. last night, Historic City News reporters in St Augustine were informed that the Florida Highway Patrol was on the scene of a crash where a 2010 GMC Sierra pickup truck collided with a local man on a 2006 Yamaha Moped as he headed north on SR-A1A.
