St Augustine police and firefighters responded to a two-car crash this evening when the driver of a black Mitsubishi SUV attempted a left turn onto Malaga Street from Ponce de Leon Boulevard, but misjudged his distance from two oncoming vehicles; just steps from their respective stations.

In an effort to educate and inform, I am pleased to be able to present to the citizens of St Johns County this department update.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported to Historic City News that they would be teaching children a lifelong hobby and instilling appreciation for our marine environment when they offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic for children between the ages of 5 and 15.
The PARC Group, master developer of Nocatee, North Florida’s fastest-growing master-planned community, announced to Historic City News in St Augustine that they would begin construction of a 300-foot-long zipline over the community’s Splash Water Park this week.
At this week’s regular meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party, Secretary Esther Miller conducted the annual election in accordance with the bylaws of the group; which calls for officers to be elected on the second Tuesday of July.
