City holds public budget hearings
A Special Meeting of the St Augustine City Commission will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 5:05 p.m. in the Alcazar Room to hear public comments and adopt resolutions specific to four major financial topics for the coming Fiscal Year.
Romero Britto to lecture at Flagler College
Tom Iacuzio reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that Brazilian-born popular artist Romero Britto will speak at Flagler College during a lecture planned for Thursday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ringhaver Student Center located at 50 Sevilla Street.

LeAnn Daddario informed local Historic City News reporters that St Johns County Sheriff David B Shoar would address the problems of underage drinking and drug use amongst our youth during the “Be a Parent, Not a Friend” Town Hall Meeting sponsored by Prevention Coalition of St Johns County.

Airport wins Environmental Achievement Award
