The Ancient City Poets will hold a free poetry reading on Sunday May 26 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Gallery Café of St Augustine, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.
The continuing investigation into the homicide of 67-year-old Barbara Parchem has taken a turn that has some Historic City News readers questioning why the victim’s daughter, a known probation violator, is walking around free.
Sheriff David Shoar will hold a dedication ceremony tomorrow morning; celebrating the renaming of the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office building to the Sheriff Neil J Perry Criminal Justice Complex in honor of his mentor and predecessor in office; who held the seat for 20-years before he retired.
