St Augustine-based Soldiers return today
Historic City News reporters have been invited to welcome home about 26 Soldiers this afternoon from the 2153rd Financial Management Detachment, based in St Augustine, when they return from a nine-month deployment.

Zelda Crafton reported to Historic City News that earlier this afternoon, storms brought hailstones the size of golf balls at her residence west of St Augustine.
Historic City News received word that, last night, St Johns County Fire Rescue and Sheriff’s deputies were able to coordinate the safe recovery of five trapped residents from a multi-family residential structure located at 100 Fairway Park Boulevard in Ponte Vedra Beach.
