School lunch program applications start today
Sean Prevatt, Director of Food and Nutrition Services, has provided information for Historic City News readers about the 2013-2014 St Johns County School District policy regarding free and reduced price meals for students under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs and Child Care Food Program.



St Augustine Police public information officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that on Saturday, while local resident Cathy Brown was shopping at the Winn-Dixie Marketplace located at 3551 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard, an unknown person snagged her wallet from her purse, unnoticed.
The Florida Bar informed local Historic City News reporters that action has been taken against 52-year-old Marlene Garcia, who resides at 115B Flagler Boulevard in St Augustine, to suspend her from the practice of law for one year, effective immediately.
