Mr Flagler’s St Augustine wins Florida Book Award

Retired Flagler Professor Tom Graham has earned a prestigious Florida Book Award, according to an announcement from the college received by Historic City News today. The former history professor taught at Flagler College from 1973 to 2008.

Robbery suspect apprehended aided by witness testimony

St Augustine Police reported to Historic City News that a homeless man, who was brutally beaten and robbed in the woods behind Broudy’s Liquors on Ponce de Leon Boulevard last Thursday, February 19th, has been able to identify his assailant — with assistance from two witnesses to the crimes.
