Hear your city commission candidates live and unrehearsed

Natalie R. Page, Vice Chairperson
St Johns, FL
Dear Historic City News Editor:
According to popular business magazine, no matter how or where you work, successful businesses in 2016 are becoming leaner and more efficient. The Julington Creek Plantation CDD Board of Supervisors (BOS) is a perfect example. Over the past 18 months, the current CDD board has implemented a better, more efficient business model, saving the Julington Creek Plantation tax payers almost $300,000.
The dedication of Dr. Robert B. Hayling Freedom Park Saturday morning assures Historic City News readers that the City of St Augustine will keep Riberia Pointe as greenspace for the enjoyment of the Lincolnville neighborhood and residents throughout the community for generations to come.

Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Historic City News will be watching as the plaintiffs in Bates, et al vs. City of St Augustine come before a court appointed mediator in Jacksonville tomorrow afternoon, to see if it is possible for the city’s artists to return to their craft in public places around town.
If you didn’t already have enough reasons to re-elect St Augustine’s mayor, Nancy Shaver, or to oust the other commissioners, you just got one more. Historic City News editor Michael Gold watched in disgust as the four commissioners stood in opposition to every citizen speaker at tonight’s final budget hearing.
