Dear Editor: 2010 saw PUSH members involved in large numbers in efforts throughout the county to ameliorate current conditions for our homeless neighbors, advocate for comprehensive solutions and reach out to numerous faith based and civic organizations with education presentations.

Historic City News will be closely following a measure filed late last week in the Florida House of Representatives where an antiquated state law is being challenged that has been used for years to pad the wallets of print newspapers with some of their highest-priced advertising — legal notices.
Kudos to Commissioners Leanne Freeman and Bill Leary for having shown a tremendous amount of “responsible sense” by voting against the purchase of the M&M Market.
