Main library offers displaced businesses temporary quarters
When Historic City News discovered that Hurricane Matthew had left us with uninhabitable work space in our hundred-year-old Riberia Street office building on Monday, God answered a prayer through an announcement from our local public library.



The City of St. Augustine advised local Historic City News reporters that parking fees at all city metered areas, including on-street spaces, parking lots, and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility, have been temporarily suspended.
An inspection of the Historic Solla-Carcaba Building with contractors, the building’s owners, and Historic City Companies, Inc., concluded with the decision earlier today that our offices will have to relocate.
Historic City News readers who are members of the county’s arts, culture and heritage organizations, especially physical facilities and galleries damaged by Hurricane Matthew, are invited to attend a Hurricane Recovery Meeting on 


Earlier today, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park announced plans to local Historic City News reporters for a rocking October extravaganza to celebrate not only “Croctoberfest” but also the five-year anniversary of the popular Crocodile Crossing Zip Line Adventure.
