John Fraser will be pleased to learn that Historic City News reporters were at City Hall this afternoon when his brother-in-law, Steven Binninger, was issued a permit to resume construction on Fuego del Mar— a replica 16th century boathouse at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park.

A mural, “The Secret River” based on the book of the same name by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, produced by a group of 15 children of all ages and led by regional artist Eddie White, will be featured when the St Johns County Public Library debuts an exhibit of artworks from all parts of the county.
