Fugitive spotted in our area

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has asked for help from Historic City News readers in locating a fugitive who may be hiding in our area and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

DUI saturation patrol this weekend

Kevin Kelshaw, Media Relations Officer with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, reported to Historic City News that deputies with the Traffic Crash Response and Traffic Enforcement Units will be out this Friday night and early Saturday morning conducting a county wide DUI saturation patrol.

5 year-old boy victim of hit-and-run accident

Sgt. Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News that, last night, deputies from the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit responded to an accident where a young boy was injured by a hit and run driver.

Taylor arrested in Hastings farm burglary

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that 34-year old Ronald Wayne Taylor who resides at 9820 McMahon Ave. in Hastings was arrested on charges of burglary to a structure, grand theft, and criminal mischief Thursday.
