Subway in Hastings robbed last night
The St Johns County Sheriff’s Office informed local Historic City News reporters that deputies responded last night at 10:40 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at the Subway restaurant located at 8804 West Church Street in Hastings.



Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Historic City News has been following the lock-down of Flagler County high schools today while area law enforcement officials searched for the man they say made threats against Matanzas High School students on his Facebook page — that 20-year-old Palm Coast man is now under arrest.
Sheriff’s spokesman Catherine Payne reported to Historic City News that a search warrant was served this afternoon at a residence in St Augustine South where evidence of an inactive methamphetamine lab was uncovered.
Public Affairs Director Klare Ly reported to Historic City News that the St Augustine man has been convicted by a St Johns County jury after he lured young boys, between the ages of 12 and 16 years-old, with fishing and boating activities; then used alcohol and child pornography to betray their trust.
Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt Charles E Mulligan informed local Historic City News reporters that assets from the dive team, patrol division and fire-rescue, responded to the sighting of a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo; found partially submerged, head-first, in the St Johns River near the Shands Bridge on SR-16.
