Historic City News reporting that today sentencing was held in the murder of 29-year-old convenience store clerk Malav Desai during a robbery that took place on May 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at 70 Masters Drive in St Augustine.
Last night at about 8:10 p.m., Historic City News learned that St Augustine Beach Police captured a fugitive from North Carolina when he returned to take possession of a reportedly stolen car that was parked in the 10th Street parking lot, just East of A1A Beach Boulevard.

A year later, the man convicted of her murder is on his way to prison to spend the next 50 years of his life.
After completing an independent criminal investigation considering allegations of “criminal misconduct” between a Flagler County deputy sheriff and a female inmate, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement presented their findings to the State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, R. St Johns County Fire Rescue reported to Historic City News today that they were able to save a historic home from fire in the 500 block of CR-13A. The home was reportedly built in the 1800’s.
