The St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce reported to Historic City News today that Jacobs, Jacobs & Associates, Inc. was the winner of the membership drive’s grand prize — a cruise for two to the Bahamas on Carnival Cruise Lines.

Begun by a principal and 3 teachers fifty years before, the St. Johns County Teachers Credit Union became part of Community First Credit Union in 2004 — and today they broke ground on their new St. Johns branch in the Winn Dixie Shopping Center on North Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

Sgt. Charles Mulligan reported to Historic City News this morning that several citizens and three St. John County Deputy Sheriffs working in Ponte Vedra Beach have been decontaminated by the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Haz-Mat Team.

Deputy Jeffery Carroll made two arrests at about 2:30 yesterday morning at a vacant residence on Rodriguez Street according to an incident report received by Historic City News.
