Several county boards have vacancies
Administrative Assistant Melissa Lundquist reported to Historic City News that she is currently providing applications to residents of St Johns County who would be willing to serve on one of the following volunteer advisory boards.


The Saint Augustine Tea Party announced to Historic City News that they would host Marielena Stuart at the regular membership meeting this Tuesday, May 22, at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Historic City News readers learned of the +400 “invitation only” guests for last week’s TPC “economic development” reception, sponsored by the St Johns County Industrial Development Authority and its partners; now we’ve learned that some of those same guests, made the “invitation only” list to accompany the governor to Madrid, Spain.
Historic City News readers are invited to attend the 6th Annual Sea Turtle Festival, a family-oriented anniversary featuring live music this Sunday, May 20 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the bayfront at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina located at 111 Avenida Menendez in St Augustine.


Another candidate has entered the race for St Augustine City Commission Seat 1 — bringing to three the total number of opponents who will face incumbent Errol D Jones for re-election.
