State Park events earn national acceptance
Fort Mose Historic State Park recently received confirmation that three of the park’s events have been accepted into the National Park Service’s National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom; according to an announcement received by Historic City News local news desk on Friday.

When Nello Joseph Mariotti moved to St Augustine in 1956, he founded one of the city’s most recognized businesses; with a name familiar to anyone who drives past their location on South Ponce de Leon Boulevard — Mariotti’s Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
Administrative Assistant Melissa Lundquist reported to Historic City News that she is currently providing applications to residents of St Johns County who would be willing to serve in one of three vacancies on two volunteer advisory boards.
The St Johns County Chamber of Commerce informed Historic City News today that they hold nearly 150 events each year for the business professionals in St Augustine and St Johns County.
