St Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that all polling locations have closed on this, the last day of early voting in the 2012 Primary Election.
During the regular business meeting Monday evening, St Augustine city commissioners will consider proposed Ordinance 2012-10 to allow banners on city-owned light poles for limited, “government-only” use.

Dear Editor:
All we wanted was a nice, aesthetically pleasing garden in the public plaza of our neighborhood; something that everybody could use and enjoy.
The Guana Tolomato Matanzas Research Reserve announced to local Historic City News reporters that they would be collaborating with the Ocean Conservancy to host International Coastal Cleanup Day on September 15, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and they are asking our readers to volunteer.
