Five easy ways to pay your tax bill
St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth, CFC, in an effort to make paying your tax bill as convenient as possible for Historic City News readers, notified us of several different options designed to suit the needs, schedules and preferences of all taxpayers.

In an announcement released to Historic City News last night, the St. Johns County Republican Party made its recommendation for voters considering the Florida Constitutional Amendments.
Congressman John L. Mica, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Republican leader, told Historic City News, “Once again we have a stark reminder that, whether a shoe bomb, liquid bomb, underwear bomb, or package bombs, all originating from foreign locations, terrorists are still trying to penetrate our security systems.”
Sales and Marketing Manager Molly Ebersold informed local Historic City News reporters that in November, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park will offer two great events for kids.
Jeremy Robshaw, Public Information Officer with St. Johns County Fire Rescue, informed Historic City News local reporters that emergency personnel responded to a residential structure fire in the 2100 block of Forest Hollow Way early today.
Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County responded to Indian Trails Middle School to investigate a student gun threat.
Although October 31st marks the traditional end of sea turtle nesting season, St. Johns County has informed Historic City News that four turtle nests remain on our beaches that have not yet hatched.
