The St. Johns County local news desk has been advised of a neighborhood meeting to gather residents’ input on proposed traffic solutions to be held tomorrow night in the Heritage Landing Amenity Center, 370 Heritage Landing Parkway.
Melissa Lundquist reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County is currently accepting applications for the following Board and Committee vacancies.
St. Johns County Audubon Society Board member Ali Fulcher reminded the St. Johns County local news desk that the 13th Annual Great Backyard Bird Count is right around the corner.

At about 4:30 yesterday afternoon, Historic City News freelance photographer Christopher Kimball reported to the local St. Augustine news desk that he was on the scene of a single car collision on U.S. 1 south of DuPont Center.
The issue of extended hours for the sale of alcoholic beverages within the City of St. Augustine was back in front of commissioners last night — this time to change the weekday opening hour from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Not much controversy that the area designated Historic Preservation District 3, north of Hypolita Street, should remain Spanish colonial; however, there are changes in store for Historic Preservation District 1, south of the Plaza, and Historic Preservation District 2, between Hypolita and Cathedral Place.
Our St. Augustine local news reporter watched last night as commissioners listened to complaints triggered by last weekend’s removal of more than a dozen mooring balls from the waters of Salt Run.
