The St. Johns County Civic Association Roundtable will host a County Candidates Forum on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The event will be held at the County Auditorium located at 4020 Lewis Speedway.

Man found beaten in West Augustine
A suspect or suspects are being sought in connection with the beating of a 49-year old St. Johns County man found early this morning. The victim was found on the ground by a passerby at 6:30 a.m. near the area of W. King St. and S. St. Johns Ave.

A 58-year old Hastings man was arrested on charges of sexual battery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and battery this afternoon according to information received from Sgt.
