According to an announcement received by Historic City News from Gina LeBlanc, the Anastasia Mosquito Control District has extended an invitation for the public to attend an open house in order to learn what services the district provides to St. Johns County and how the public can “fight the bite.â€

A suspect or suspects are being sought in connection with the beating of a 49-year old St. Johns County man found early this morning. The victim was found on the ground by a passerby at 6:30 a.m. near the area of W. King St. and S. St. Johns Ave.
