Neighborhood Council will not hold Primary forum

Neighborhood Council of St Augustine has informed local Historic City News reporters that they will not hold a Primary Election forum this year. Four candidates are running for City Commission Seat 1 in this election, the top two will move to the November General Election unless one of the candidates receives more than 50% of the votes cast.



When the polls close on Election Night, Historic City News editor Michael Gold joins local radio personality Kevin Geddings live in the studio on WSOS 103.9 FM for two hours of reporting and commentary, keeping you informed as several important St Johns County races are decided.
Historic City News local reporters were invited to share in the groundbreaking ceremonies this afternoon when the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum announced construction of a new facility that will provide a permanent, handicap-accessible home for maritime research and education programs.

Flagler College informed local Historic City News reporters that the new academic year will kick off Saturday, August 20th, when approximately 620 new first-year students move into campus residence halls.
