Possible propane leak closes part of IGP

Historic City News has been informed that St. Johns County Fire Rescue personnel are investigating the source of a possible propane leak in the World Golf Village area.

Arrests warrants served in recent murder

Historic City News has learned that a 23-year old man and a 22-year old woman are in custody charged with the homicide of a 26-year old St. Johns County man that occurred last week.

Traffic stop leads to burglary arrest

A local man was arrested on charges of burglary to a structure and grand theft Monday evening according to a media release received by Historic City News this morning from Kevin Kelshaw, Media Relations Officer with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

A Scenic Conservation Workshop co-sponsored by the America’s Resource Center and Scenic America was held at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum on January 15th and 16th according to a report received by Historic City News today.

Juvenile arrested in Ponte Vedra Beach robbery

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News this evening that a 17-year old Ponte Vedra Beach resident was arrested on charges of strong-armed robbery and possession of prescription medication without a prescription on Sunday afternoon.

Historic City News has been asked by the St Augustine Fire Department to inform our readers that flow testing of fire hydrants will begin on Tuesday, January 20.
