According to a report received by Historic City News, St. Augustine city commissioners will retire a relatively light meeting agenda Monday night; however, they will face a heavier workshop agenda the following morning.

County employees earning +$60K a year
Historic City News has compiled the following list of county workers in St. Johns County who earn an annual salary of $60,000 or more, plus benefits; nearly double the $34,572 average annual wage of workers in all industries reported on the St. Johns County website.

Bridge reopening ceremony taking shape
The City of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that in just a few weeks, our community will celebrate the reopening of the historic Bridge of Lions and its return to service after over 42 months of extensive rehabilitation.
Rules and guidelines for The 27 Club
The ’27 Club is the first official group of pedestrians to cross the restored Bridge of Lions when it reopens. The group’s name recalls the year the Bridge of Lions originally opened, 1927. The group will walk over the bridge ahead of the general public; following a ribbon cutting ceremony.
