County Administrator Michael D. Wanchick reported to Historic City News that last month was very busy for the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division hosting five great events including Stone Temple Pilots, Alan Jackson, Third Day, Lynyrd Skynrd, and Bonnie Raitt.
St. Johns County Building Services Division reports to Historic City News that they are continuing to track a recent rise in permitting activity through their division.

Friends of A1A Communications Consultant, Beverly Keneagy, invited Historic City News readers to participate in the first ever “Super Scenic A1A Highway Garage Sale” that will be held on Saturday, November 14th along the nationally designated A1A National Scenic Byway.
At a press conference called this afternoon by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Historic City News learned that a two phase operation titled “Operation Street Sweeper” has been concluded today.
The City of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that three new 1500 gallon per minute Upper Floridian aquifer wells, drilled to approximately 450’ deep, are under construction.
