First America fills auditorium

Historic City News has learned that an overflow crowd filled Flagler College Auditorium Thursday evening, according to today’s St. Augustine Report.

SyFy paranormal investigators visit

Ghost Hunters International investigator Brandy Green reported to Historic City News that on December 4th and 5th, she and Angela Alderman Lis will be in St. Augustine for an autograph signing, meet and greet, and investigation.

County observes Veterans Day Wednesday

St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners reported to Historic City News that all county offices and all St. Johns County Public Libraries will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in observance of Veterans Day.

Restaurant closed twice after food inspections

Historic City News learned that restaurant operations were ordered stopped until violations were corrected during a routine food inspection held on October 8th, and again on October 9th at Athena Café located at 14 Cathedral Place.

The St. Augustine Amateur golf tournament raised $13,500 to benefit The First Tee of St. Johns County according to a report received by Historic City News.
