Florida Black History Month contests
Governor Rick Scott and Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll announced the launch of Florida’s Black History Month “Celebrating African-American Leaders in Business – Past, Present and Future” website to Historic City News.



Kevin Kelshaw informed local reporters at Historic City News that 49 year-old William Hardy Moore, Jr., was arrested today after deputies executed a search warrant at his home; located at 4709 Avenue B, in St. Augustine.
Historic City News local reporters learned that on Tuesday, February 15th, Flagler College will present “The Christ-Haunted South: Religion as History in Dixie” as part of their Community Lecture Series.

Vice-Mayor Leanna Freeman is spearheading the “Home Again St. Johns” site location committee, and, this morning, she brought along Historic City News and leaders from Jacksonville’s Sulzbacher Center for tours of the St. Francis House and Wildflower Clinic.



St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys alerts Historic City News readers that there are many entertainment choices in store for this weekend including First Friday events and the final weekend of the award-winning Nights of Lights.
