Assistant State Attorney Kelsey A. Bledsoe has informed local Historic City News reporters that sentencing for Randal Hart, originally scheduled for 8:30 a.m. this morning, has been reset for Friday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Construction on the new county Health and Human Services Center has begun and should be completed a little ahead of the deadline for us to be out of the old location. A few people thought this to be a terrible idea; it passed our board 4-1. You decide!
Historic City News readers are invited by the Tolomato Cemetery Preservation Association this Saturday for an educational and entertaining guided tour of the oldest extant planned cemetery in the State of Florida with burials starting during the First Spanish Period (1565-1763).
Historic City News has learned that about 15 paintings from the series “La Florida” by artist Roger Bansemer will be exhibited in the Rotunda Gallery located in the St Johns County Administration Palace from August 6 through October 24, 2013.
